I think Craig does the lead vox for the cover song "Search and Destroy". Also for the song "Sin City." From what I understand these are hard songs to get a copies of. Any of you fans out there know?

I got the You Make Me Feel Like a Whore single not too long ago and am not sure who does the song "Klinger - Like Brandon Does". Sounds like it might be Craig.

Any ideas?

New Everclear [14 Sep 2006|12:03am]

Hi. I was very upset when craig and greg left the band. I know this is old news. I actually didnt want anything to do with everclear for awhile because of it. Was anyone else really upset??? But i am a huge everclear fan so that didnt last too long. I have seen them live about 5 times. Well the old everclear. I am from Oregon, and Art lives in Portland. I really relate to their lyrics. Has anyone heard the new cd? I downloaded it. I really miss the more grunge hard rock sound that everclear had in the early days. I still like the music however and lyrics. I'm new to the community as well. Hope to hear back! Thanks

Did any of you see Art on "The O'Rielly Factor" last night? What did you think of it?

I know why I still hate O'Rielly, he is such an asshole that wont give his guests anytime to explain their views and never sees where they are coming from.

Anyway, yeah

So guess who just got a copy of the Nervous and Weird EP on ebay for $20 with shipping? :)

Thought I'd post such news on here because you guys are the only people who really know the significance of that. Now all I need is to find an original Colorfinger CD....

Not sure how many of you are still following Everclear but their new album is set to be released on September 12. Their new single, "Hater" sounds good if any of you want to hear it...just go to the link...

They will also be performing on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Thursday July 27.

So I talked to Art at the Chuchill Downs show and he said that the new album will be out in October. The band sounded great, they were all wearing belt buckles with everclear written over a pale green star, so it seems Art's anti-Sparkle and Fade/old Everclear sentiments have run out. They really only played their hits, Heroin Girl (at a slower tempo) and "867-5309" which sounded really good.

Nothing else really to report, that myspace link is the best source for news.

Everclear is going to be playing May 5th here in Louisville. I've always been able to get some interaction with the band at shows (via displaying some sort of real fan memorabilia, etc.), so maybe I'll be able to get some news aside from getting an awesome show.

cheap everclear cd yall [17 Mar 2006|07:51pm]

weetzie_baby
Hello all you gorgeous people. I'm selling a copy of Everclear's "So Much for the Afterglow" over on eBay. Just incase any of you E lovers out there doesn't already have one. Or if you do have one, want an extra for.....well I don't know why you would want an extra one, but hey, it's Everclear right? You can never have too many. ;)

Hey guys, I know I've asked about this before, but what I'm asking for is Art's performance of "Havest" on Late Night with Carson Daly in 2002. The same night, he performed "Volvo-Driving Soccer Mom" right before it. If anyone knows where I could find that, or if anyone could direct me to a good Everclear site that may have it (it's not on whitelightning or on Hungry and Hollow) I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks!

PS
New album? Does Art have a new label to actually get it out?

Is anyone in this community from the original Everclear Online message board?
I don't give two shits about the band anymore, but I miss the people there.

just to let you guys know everclear will be coming out with a new cd. when i was at a concert recently on new years day he comfirmed that they have been working on new things, this with his new band members. everything sounds awesome and their new song is pretty cool.

heres the best picture i could get, as you can see its pretty crappy. thats what you get when you are not allowed to have the flash on because of the house of blues no camera rule.

Slow Motion Daydream and whatnot... [22 Oct 2005|10:45am]

melody_tree
Sooooo I just bought Slow Motion Daydream (yeah, I know it's a bit late), and it got me contemplating which of Everclear's albums is my favorite.

I'm thinking either Slow Motion Daydream or So Much for the Afterglow.

Out of curiosity, what are your favorite albums?? I was just wondering what period of Everclear you guys in this community are into (like the older crunchy stuff or the newer stuff with string sections or whatever).
